Hurricane Fiona Relief with Fundación Mochileando
Fundación CREPS collaborated with Fundación Mochileando 100×35 to support the island’s recovery efforts in the aftermath of the destructive Hurricane Fiona. Our volunteers helped gather and quantify thousands of pounds of food, essential items, hygiene products, pet food, and all kinds of donations, with a value of over $60,000 dollars. Additionally, specific cases of individuals and communities that have been neglected were identified in order to provide the best assistance to them. With our dedicated volunteers working harmoniously, we efficiently allocated tasks based on diverse needs and projects. These initiatives encompassed various activities such as roof repairs, housework, donation collection, and distribution of essential items like clothing and food. Our collaborative efforts were geared towards maximizing our impact and serving as many people as possible, with the ultimate goal of supporting the well-being and a swift recovery of Puerto Rico’s communities.
